In the Maasvlakte, Europe's largest green hydrogen factory will be built. Making Rotterdam an international hub for hydrogen production, import, application and transport to other countries in Northwest Europe. 

Hydrogen is becoming more important. Firstly, replacing natural gas for hydrogen to generate heat, is a sustainable choice. Secondly, hydrogen is becoming more important in sustainable chemistry to make products. 

There's no denying that this development is an important part of the energy transition.
