As a Forman, you’ll be actively involved in the Rotterdam Waalhaven area. You ensure that prefab activities are carried out safely, in an organized manner, and according to all agreements and procedures. You give clear instructions to your team, monitor progress, and step in when necessary. Not only do you supervise, but you also participate in the project alongside your colleagues.

On a typical day, you’ll check the quality of work done, make sure personal protective equipment is used correctly, and perform various checks and quality inspections. You coordinate with your team, motivate them, and lend a hand wherever needed. During busy periods, you’re willing to work shifts and overtime to make sure deadlines are always met.

About the project

You’ll be joining a big international team. This organization focuses on tank maintenance, tank construction, civil engineering, piping, turnarounds, painting, E&I, panel construction, and engineering. • Experience (5+ years) in steel construction, preferably under NEN 1090
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform quality inspections
• Ability to act independently, thoughtfully, and professionally
• High safety and quality awareness
• A valid driver’s license B
• Valid first aid (BHV) certificate or willing to obtain one
• Valid VCA VOL certificate or willing to obtain one
• Strong leadership skills and a team player
